PROGRAMS

New Start Enterprises is a transformation-based nonprofit serving individuals who have experienced incarceration, addiction, violence, and grief. Our work is rooted in the belief that anyone — no matter how far they've fallen — can rise with integrity.

Our programs are built around the RAIDD Code:
Responsibility. Accountability. Integrity. Discipline. Dedication.

We don’t just teach life skills — we teach people how to take ownership of their lives. We guide them through the darkness, toward a future of purpose, pride, and honor. We draw from timeless wisdom, trauma recovery principles, and real-world discipline to help people face the truth, rebuild their character, and become assets to their communities.

This isn’t about theory. This is about experience. About resurrection.
About what happens when someone chooses to change — and earns their way back.

Core Curriculum Components

1. Foundations of Transformation

Participants begin by learning the philosophy behind New Start — a system rooted in descent, reckoning, and return. Drawing from classical myth (Dante, Achilles, Orpheus, Socrates), we frame transformation as a heroic act of responsibility and rebirth.

We explore:

  • The relationship between trauma and identity

  • The necessity of descent in every great transformation

  • What it means to take full responsibility for your choices

This stage lays the groundwork. It’s where participants stop blaming and start building.

2. The RAIDD Code Training

This is the backbone of everything we teach.

  • Responsibility — Owning your actions and outcomes

  • Accountability — Holding yourself to a higher standard

  • Integrity — Living with honesty, even when no one is watching

  • Discipline — I do what is necessary, even when it is difficult.

  • Dedication — Committing to something greater than yourself

These values are trained like muscles — through reflection, action, correction, and discipline.

3. Trauma and Rewiring

Participants are introduced to the science behind trauma and how it affects the brain, body, and behavior. More importantly, they learn how to reclaim their nervous systems through intentional practice. This is taught not from a clinical lens — but from one of lived experience and personal reclamation.

We cover:

  • Understanding triggers and patterns

  • Techniques for regulation and emotional resilience

  • Replacing destructive cycles with disciplined, constructive habits

4. Skill-Building for Real Life

We integrate vocational and life skills training throughout the journey. Whether it’s learning how to show up to work, build a routine, communicate with others, or lead by example — everything ties back to the RAIDD Code.

Participants learn:

  • Communication and conflict resolution

  • Daily discipline and habit formation

  • How to build trust, set goals, and follow through

5. Legacy and Leadership

The final stage of the program focuses on meaning. What are you here to do now? How can you use your story to serve others? This is where transformation becomes purpose — and graduates begin to see themselves not just as survivors, but as leaders.
